CyBC have announced Despina Olympiou (Δέσποινα Ολυμπίου) as the singer for the Malmö contest.
The song, An Me Thimasai (or Thimase) (Aν με θυμάσαι, If you remember me) is written by Andreas Georgallis (music) and lyricist Zenon Zindilis. The song is a ballad sung in Greek.
Olympiou has a new album scheduled to be released in 2013: Mikra Mistika, the follow up of the 2009 album Mia Stigmi.

For songwriter Zenon Zindilis An Me Thimasai is the second Eurovision entry. In 1998 Genesis performed by Michael Hajiyanni was the entry for Cyprus. (11th place).

A five track cdsingle has Greek English, Spanish, Greek remix and Spanish remix.
The promo version has the same tracks but a different sleeve without barcode.
